NCLEX/PN Preparation

PMCI offers a 20 hour NCLEX® Review course with a simple mission: To prepare nursing students to pass the exam on the first attempt.

The objectives of the review are:

  • To provide MUST KNOW core content
  • To develop critical thinking skills
  • To demonstrate and practice NCLEX® specific testing strategies
  • To practice NCLEX® style exams based on the current test plan

The review course includes a full 20 hours of class instructed by Registered Nurses who are NCLEX® experts. The course consists of a review of all the core body systems, nursing process, general test taking skills and NCLEX® testing strategies. An NCLEX® review book is included with the course.

Students registered in this course also receive a free 90-day access to all online content. Classes are held at the PMCI campus.

  • NCLEX® – what to expect
  • Strategies for major question types
  • Strategies for priority questions
  • Therapeutic communication review
  • Medications: safe administration, classifications of common drugs
  • Patient Teaching – giving clear and accurate information
  • Strategies for Nutrition related questions
  • Diagnosis related questions
  • Legal and ethical questions
  • Medical terminology to know
  • Review of major systems and common disorders of each
